The scribbles isn’t the portrait, give it an old faded photograph look. Nicely done!

Ah yeah, actually the old faded look is cheating a bit.
I added that afterwards with a digital filter, I’m not beyond a bit of cheatery to create the image I had in mind, generally what you see (here) is what’s on the paper but occasionally I like to have a play about 😀

I think you have to sometimes when you put an image to screen. Even when I take a high res photo of a sketch it still looks far greyer than in person. So I usually filter it to brighten it up a bit. Not cheating, just enhancing!
